So Chemical Angel is taking a hiatus... the "ego" has a new job and works nights... and can't get time off for te upcoming calendar. So we're cancelling a few gigs, and turning down one we both really wanted to play.

Shrug... the "ego" is to be commended for his responsibility. Less reasonable people would call in sick... I support people making sure they can pay their bills. Cheers, "ego"... we'll bring it back together in the fall.

Ever feel like you're leaning over an edge? I've been feeling a little emotional vertigo lately. like the ground of experience is rushing up at me... not completely unpleasant, but the rabbit is inclined to leap and run... "i hate's that wabbit"...

I've recently concluded that speach is ugly. It sends rough little translations of what the ego is thinking. And, well, the ego's the true "child of Omelas"... and that's not pretty. And nothing it thinks is worthwhile. If a thought arises, it is intended to distract. If an idea is had, it's goal is turn the mind away from awareness.

got a great idea for a burning man camp. I'm going to make an attempt at organizing something for 2006... The idea is to start now, so that planning doesn't crunch com June next year. It will require money, time and commitment... I want to build a "speakeasy"... with a secret password, free "bathtub gin" at the bar... secret agent spy techno on the sound system and guys and dolls and shit... I think it would be a blast! Basically a brick facade, a door with a little spy window, tables, chairs, some carpet and a 500 watt sound system. Nothing I haven't done out their before... just DIFFERENT. hahaha...

I would love to have past campmates join in on this, but most won't! And I would love even more to find new people to love the playa with... so I'll be posting about it on some groups, etc. We'll see.. either it will happen or it won't... I figure I'll have a clear indication of it's potential by January, and I 'll buy tix then if it looks good... if not, I'll go to Europe on the money I save! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
