wow
ok, so I'm taking just a minute to post, cause i never do anymore

cause I'm working my ass

hehehe

I have a horrible paying job, minimum plus sales commission.. if I ever get into the swing of consistent sales, i might make enough money to get by, heheh...

until then it's all about HOURS

I've spent no time with my family in two weeks, because we REALLY need the pay this month. I work from 1 to 11 every day, and i've only hade like ONE DAY off since I started there... of course I'm not complaining, I need the work and I'm glad to have it.

But it does mean that I go like two days straight each week without seeing my youngest AT ALL. and i really don't see anyone else much either.

Oh,well, eh? at least I'm working, which is more than I could've said last month.

of course this means I am ABSENT from my life. i suppose for now it must be one thing or the other.

...is it the kind of guitar center where they don't know that most guitars don't *have* keyboards, and they want you to work on commission...? that would be really mean...

guitar center sells all kinds of instruments... I am on the keyboard side. it IS funny thing, eh?

Wow. As you were describing your job in your post, I was thinking to myself "I wonder if he works at GC." I worked there for years, and did pretty good at it. I took my sales skills and moved into a job that actually pays me a salary instead of draw v. fade and I'm much happier. My roommate still works there, and he's busting his ass for his second 15-hour-day in a row... but that's the BIG MEMORIAL DAY SALE AT GC for ya. I feel bad for him.

I wish you the best of luck. That's a hard company to work for. I learned a lot there about sales, though.

It has to be hard, being away from the little man, but look at this way, you're being a responsible day and working your ass off to make sure he's taken care. I'm glad you have work, I know these past months have been hard on y'all...
